Sling Chicken
About Sling Chicken
Sling Chicken, developed by Golem Kin Games, is an endless vertical arcade climber where a chicken flung slingshot-style up a barn — and beyond — races a rival to the highest altitude within 90 seconds. Golden eggs float along flight paths as bonus pickups, while spinning saws, wood boards, slanted beams, moving pills, stone blocks, spinning wheels, and diamonds guard the rungs higher up. Height in meters is your score, and matches end either when time runs out or when you die mid-flight — your peak height freezes as your final mark, so dying ahead still wins.
How to Play Sling Chicken
Every run begins on a rung inside the barn. Drag backward from the chicken to stretch its wings and build slingshot tension, then release to fling it upward toward the next peg. Landing on a rung stops the chicken so you can sling again. Fly through golden eggs to collect them. Avoid hazards — solid hits end the run early, and spinning saws are the most punishing obstacles on the way up.
Match Structure
Each match runs 90 seconds against a simulated rival chicken that steadily gains meters over time. Win by holding more meters when the clock expires. Outside matches, coins and rank points accumulate, cosmetics unlock, and two modes are available: Quick Match and the Coop Climb ladder, which pits you against five rivals in a row.
Controls
- Drag backward (from the chicken): Stretch wings to build slingshot tension
- Release: Launch the chicken upward toward the next rung
FAQ
What are the two match modes in Sling Chicken?
Quick Match drops you into a single 90-second race against a rival chicken. Coop Climb is a ladder format where you face five rivals in a row.
What happens if the chicken dies before the 90 seconds are up?
Your score freezes at your peak height the moment you die, and the match ends shortly after. If your frozen height is still higher than the rival's, you win.
What do coins and rank points do between matches?
Coins and rank points (RP) earned outside matches go toward unlocking cosmetics.
Which obstacles block the path at greater heights?
Higher rungs introduce slanted beams, diamonds, moving pills, stone blocks, and spinning wheels on top of the spinning saws and wood boards found earlier in the climb.
